WRITE TO YOUR MP ABOUT THE 12 RECOMMENDATIONS CAMPAIGN 〰️

Our 12 Recommendations to Government offer a springboard to improving outcomes around school non-attendance, persistent absence and barriers to attending, accessing or remaining in education for children and young people.

After 5 years working alongside colleagues in the third sector, education, healthcare, welfare, social care, pastoral care and youth-work, in addition to those outside these arenas, we have 12 focussed, intersectional and pertinent Recommendations for the new government and allied colleagues.

Please download the full document or use any of the individual graphics below if you'd like to have a more focussed conversation around any one of the Recommendations - share with your MP, setting, local area, supporters, peer networks and feed back to us thoughts, ideas and even examples of practice already developing and emerging that's working.

Just like the complexity of the attendance landscape, the solutions are numerous. These initial 12 are, in our opinion, a great place to start reverse the tide of school distress, withdrawal, risk of exclusion, truancy or CAMHS.

We've equally considered scaffolding and protecting workforce capacity and wellbeing as much as children, young people and their families. Because if we don't support the supporters, children and young people feel it all the more.
