Al Coates
Al qualified as a Social Worker in 2013 and became a Social Work Practice Educator in 2015. He worked with adoptive families and with foster carers for over 20 years and trained and advised parents and carers who struggled to manage challenging behaviour. As well as being able to draw on personal and professional experience he is also a qualified Advanced Non Violent Resistance practitioner.
Al lobby's on adoption issue and is author of the weekly 'Adoption & Fostering Podcast' as well as blogging and writing articles on areas such as Childhood Challenging Violent and Aggressive Behaviour (CPV/APVA). He speaks across the UK and has co authored a book on CCVAB.
