Paul Hanrahan
Paul leads the LightBulb Programme. He is responsible for writing and delivering training to education staff, parents and students across both primary and secondary settings. He is an Associate Instructor with Mental Health First Aid England specialising specifically with the Youth Mental Health First Aid.
Paul has been a qualified English teacher for over 20 years. The past 15 he has worked a teacher at St Andrew’s College within a CAHM’s low secure unit working with students who have complex emotional and mental health issues. This has involved not only teaching but working as part of a multi-disciplinary team involved in care planning for the young people. The college utilises a Trauma informed approach with a trauma informed curriculum.
Paul provides training in topics based around wellbeing, mental health and resilience. He is able to incorporate his own lived experience of living with anxiety, depression and Dyslexia.
