Dr Alison Kriel
Alison is an experienced Executive Head Teacher and CEO who has both turned around a failing school within a deprived area of London from the bottom 1% to the top 0.1% in 3 years and then sustained the success for a further 6 years. The school was listed within the top 100 schools nationwide; listed in The Sunday Times Top 500 list; awarded London Gold status; recognised as one of London Top 3 Schools from 2013-17 and regarded and recommended by Regional Schools Commissioner for East of England and North-East London as a model school for the London, Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex region.
Alison also has huge experience in managing change and leading schools into success including negotiating an amalgamation and establishing a school from scratch.
She has a passion for values led leadership, enriched curriculum, unmeasured curriculum, staff and pupil well-being, the celebration of the teaching profession, equity, inclusion and diversity. She is regularly invited to present at conference by a range of organisations including Teach First, Mayor of London, Wellington Festival of Education, TES, BETT, Local Authority and MAT Leadership conferences, Inside Government, and Osiris.
