Susan Liverman
Susan is a parent-carer based in Northamptonshire who recently completed a master's in Mindfulness-Based cognitive therapy (MBCT) at the University of Oxford.
Her dissertation focussed on how to support the mental health of parent carers with mindfulness. She now provides mindfulness skills training as an early mental health intervention in various settings. She is an experienced facilitator, having worked for 20 years in a corporate environment including project delivery roles.
Following her own family's experiences, she also volunteer as a peer support to families of young people who are "Not Fine In School". They raise awareness of unfair attendance fines for families whose children face barriers to attendance, via a large Change.Org petition.
