Victoria Bagnall: Advocate for Neuroinclusion and Education Reform
Victoria Bagnall is a passionate advocate for neuroinclusion and a dedicated educator who works tirelessly to improve outcomes for families of children underserved by the current education system. As a dyslexic high achiever who attended the University of Cambridge, Victoria's own experiences with discrimination as a neurodivergent learner have profoundly shaped her mission.
After retraining as a teacher, she discovered her passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs as a Special Educational Needs (SEN) tutor. Through her work at Connections in Mind, she has pioneered executive function coaching and training in the UK, helping to raise awareness of the importance of these skills in education.
Victoria trains teachers to uncover their unconscious bias against neurodivergent traits and equips them with the skills to offer neuroinclusive teaching that serves the needs of all learners in every class. Her commitment to creating a neuroinclusive future extends to her work with organizations like Square Pegs, where she offers support and advice to all stakeholders seeking equity for our children.
